What is it

A salary account is opened at the initiative and request of the employer and is exclusively for receiving salary, retirement benefits, pensions, and other similar benefits paid by the paying source. This type of account does not allow transactions by check, receiving deposits/transfers, making TED (electronic transfer available) or PIX payments to third parties.

Salary portability is possible in two situations: automatically transferring the amount received in the salary account to another current account within Banese, or transferring it to another bank (free of charge).

If you are not yet receiving your salary through Banese, request your salary portability through our app or at one of our branches throughout the state and enjoy the various benefits the bank offers.

How do I open
a salary account?

Go to the Banese branch of your choice and bring the necessary documents. Our team will be available to assist you.

Check the required documents to open your account:

  • Identification document (Identity Card, Passport or National Driver’s License – CNH);
  • CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID) in good standing with the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service;
  • Letter from the company (containing the following information: identification number, CPF [Brazilian tax identification number], residential and business addresses).
